In 2016, he sold the control of EGURU to LG and became part of the management of LG, in the first year as Director of solutions HCM – Human Capital Management and since 2017 he has held the position of Vice President of LG in the place of people until he will occupy the presidency of the company, where he is also a minority shareholder. He founded MCGC in November 2014 and holds the position of Managing Partner. Previously, he took over in 2010 the Corporate Governance Department of Grupo Icatu Seguros, being responsible for Compliance, Internal Controls and Internal Audit, as well as the relationship with the independent auditors and the review of the Financial Statements. Prior to this, he served as Superintendent of Auditing and Compliance at Icatu Holding S.A. (Holding of Grupo Icatu). Graduated in Administration from UES and in Accounting from the Faculty of Political and Economic Sciences in Rio de Janeiro, Márcio built an executive career in the provision of services and implementation and risk management, controls and independent auditing by the “Big Four” PWC, Peat Marwick Mitchell and KPMG, together with their clients.

Márcio is a Certified Board Member by IBGC – Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance, and is an independent auditor in the QTG and BACEN categories, certified by CNAI.
